December was full of lots of good things. I had my Christmas concert with Ensign, which was super fabulous! And we got two of the kids' teachers from school to go to it.
Me and some of my singing friends on the back row
Brandon had his band concert, and he played a great solo....Hark the Herald Angels Sing
We went to go pick out our Christmas tree on a day that was a little wet. We were prepared with our boots and coats, and all the little boys wanted to do was to splash in all of the super awesome mud puddles!
We missed Brandon; he was at a scout activity
We enjoyed Katelyn's Christmas singing performance at school
And we had to figure out a way of keeping Weston out of the gifts after he opened about 10.
Here he is....he found a way to get it! That sneaky little stinker!
Getting ready for Christmas Eve dinner
Brandon made sure Weston had a special place setting again. This time the "goblet" was reinforced with more tape on the sides.
Opening clues for their big present....a trip to Disneyland
Christmas day was gorgeous outside so we went for a family bike ride
Love the striped socks Brandon bought Lindsey for Christmas this year!
We had the missionaries over for Christmas dinner and we gave them all Seahawks shirts and Katelyn painted them rocks.
Proof that Brandon tried on Lindsey's new socks. We snagged a pic before he could hide. :)
After Christmas we did some fun things. We went up to Seattle one day to see the awesome gingerbread houses on display
Then we grabbed some sandwiches and went to a park nearby with gorgeous views
We played games with friends
And we went sledding up in the mountains. Check out the frozen waterfalls on the side of the highway!
As you can see there wasn't a ton of snow yet. These metal things are usually buried, so we had never seen them before.
Dylan doing a little show at preschool
Our new shoe storage solution for the kids:
Brandon experimenting with his hair and stealing my camera
We bought a swing that can fold up and be moved. Since it's winter we set it up in the dining room for the time being
Christmas Sunday outfits
Weston was not enthused.
And once in a while the kids like to all match each other. This was one of those days
Trying to fix his own hair
Playing don't eat Pete. Looks very suspicious.
We thought it would be fun before school started again to do a campout in our dining room. So we set up the tent and the kids loved getting ready to go to sleep. The hilarious thing to me was that they couldn't sleep, and one at a time they all ended up in their beds. By 1:30 am, Justin and I took Dylan up to his bed, the only one left.
