Decorating projects

Well, it's that time again! Time for another decorating update. It's been so fun to work on furnishing and decorating our home, one little bit at a time. Here is the latest:

The living room, which has been in progress for a long time. We still need curtains, another picture on the wall, and maybe another thing or two, but we've made some huge progress.

I had the hardest time finding armless chairs I loved. Thank goodness for online shopping!

It's tough to see, but these branches have little LED lights that you can turn on.

And I'm lovin' these tall lamps that are unique

Let the painting begin! We got a little crazy and painted furniture in three rooms.

To begin, meet our new guest room. Furniture purchased off of craigslist for a screaming deal, needing a little bit of white paint to perk up a bit. Comforter also purchased on 80% off clearance. (Love a good deal!)

Yes, we still need to find new pulls that fit onto these drawers

And we're finally making progress on the girls' room. We found these fun comforters at Target last year, and I'm just now getting around to paining the furniture to match. It used to be a speckled grey, dating back to when I was a teenager, and before that who knows what color it was. This furniture is probably older than I am! But it looks great in these new colors.

Bulletin board is ready for some art work. Maybe we'll actually get some pictures hung up now! 

Now on to the boys' room. Here are my guys helping out with removing the handles....

And finally, we got a great big shaggy rug to go down on our family room floor. It is very comfy! Here are Dylan and Oreo enjoying it.
