Summer catch-up

Here are some pictures to illustrate what we've been up to this summer, besides painting furniture and traveling to Arizona.

Miss Katelyn with all of the skirts and tu-tu's in the house on

Brandon and Oreo lounging on the comfy rug

The kids having fun on the wagon with Dylan

Our new tether ball....here's Katelyn giving it a spin

She ran in circles for over 5 minutes and Oreo was very persistent in being right under her. Finally she decided to quit running around him and start jumping over him. And he still didn't move.

Justin works in the Pets Department at Amazon right now and we get all kinds of freebies for Oreo. He brought some "chuck-it" toys home that you can throw far away for dogs to fetch. We took Oreo down to the middle school baseball fields for some wide open space to give it a try.

Lindsey is getting pretty good at taking pictures of herself

We got the school supplies earlier this year, not because I am ready for the kids to go back to school, but because when I am ready to go buy everything to get them ready we are just a couple of weeks away and everything is sold out. I'm trying to learn from my past mistakes. Here are the kids going through our bags full of loot trying to organize everything.

Miss Lindsey has been asking for a while and we decided to get her started on piano lessons. She loves it so far!

So as you can see, we are having a good summer. Lots of jobs, playing, reading, popsicles, walks and bike rides, playing with friends, parks and swimming lessons (post on this to come). I sure like my kids! :)

I just love looking through your pictures and seeing the kiddos. They have grown quite a bit since we've seen them! I kind of think the picture with Katelyn sticking her tongue out looks like one of her aunts...
