4th of July Weekend

We had a wonderful weekend! Here are some pictures of the weekend's festivities:

Dylan is really starting to like looking at books and pointing to the pictures

On Saturday we enjoyed going to Flaming Geyser State Park and doing one of the hikes. It is the perfect hike for our kids, and of course it is just beautiful!

Oreo really enjoyed being out and about with is that afternoon

I just love how this bench is placed right in front of a "Do Not Enter" sign. Very nice touch!

And Oreo is definitely getting to where he likes riding in the car. Love those long ears flapping in the wind!

On the 4th of July we helped with a great pancake breakfast at the church with the fire fighters, and that was a great success. After such a busy morning, we were very happy to spend the rest of the day relaxing at home with our friends the Ortegas.

And as you can see the kids can race to see who can put their ring on the cone the fastest

And after a delicious BBQ dinner, we lit off some little fireworks on our back porch

And ate yummy patriotic brownies
