June marks the last couple of weeks of school here in Seattle. It feels like we get out so late, but we start late too. Here are some pics of us wrapping things up!
Dylan enjoyed going on one last preschool trip....to the zoo
Weston is becoming very curious, and loves getting into the cereal cabinet!
We celebrated Katelyn's birthday with her friends this year, a couple of weeks late because of our crazy calendar. Can't believe she's 7!
We did an obstacle course
Made bracelets with their names on beads
Played stick the beak to the penguin (she loves penguins right now)
Opened gifts
Did an pinata
And made smores out back (she requested this instead of cupcakes)
The kids love that our tree is getting big enough to climb
Here's Brandon at his DARE performance, getting ready to sing
And here are the kids with their favorite dad ever on Father's Day
Ready to eat after church
And here are the kids with their teachers on the last day....Mrs. Swanson
Mrs. Slater
and Mrs. Kearney
The kids got out their last day at 10:40 am, so I took them up to Newcastle Beach park for a school's out picnic!
And I make this mistake every time we come here.....I don't think to bring their swimming suits. But suits or not, they always get in the water!
Oh well!
Some beautiful artwork from the last day of school
We went to an Amazon thing one Saturday and among many other cool things, we got to see the Amazon drone in real life. It is not a myth. It is real! And it's really cool!
Nice hat, Brandon
And I just had to catch this before I pulled Weston off of here.....I couldn't believe that he was so determined to get up on my chest of drawers that he was standing on the handle of this little car. Very precarious!
And finally, here are some pics from our family birthday celebration for Katelyn
Katelyn requested a rainbow cake, and I was so grateful to find the most awesome cake mixes at Target. It turned out awesome!
Happy birthday sweet girl! You're growing up so fast!
