May Musings

May flew by just like the other months did. Charlie got a hair cut, and looks like a puppy again

We love doing cookouts in the back yard

The kids are figuring out how to climb the big tree out front

Brandon got to go to 5th grade camp this year, which was a big deal because he was gone for 4 1/2 days. That's a long time for a 5th grader to be away from home! He came home Friday afternoon, exhausted, and then Friday night he went with Justin and Dylan on the stake Fathers and Sons camp out. Needless to say, I've never seen him so tired before! Oh my goodness! Talk about too much camping in one week!

Here's Dylan's preschool for "Muffins with Mom"

Charlie is a good dog. He puts up with a lot, including sharing his little doggy bed with a big 18 month old who likes to lean on him.

And I got a BIG haircut. I have always wanted to try a pixie cut, and I finally got brave enough to do it!

Brandon had another awesome performance with Pacific Ballroom this year. He got to dance in two numbers in the finale show....a swing and a cha cha.

Dylan didn't make it through it

Here's Brandon with his friend Makayla after their dance performance

We found a little miniature golf course to try out.....we call it goofy golf. People here call it put - put. Tomato, tom-ah-to

We love lunches in the sun

Ah, yes, um.......let's just say that the girls were inspired by a recent Studio C clip (here)

Charlie always stands at the ready, waiting for anything to drop

For Memorial Day we hiked Grove of the Patriarchs. It started off wet, but ended up being a beautiful day

Getting Dylan across the logs over to the island was a team effort

Brandon has become a great trumpet player this year, and we really enjoyed his last band concert

Justin made a tape track for the kids to put their little cars on. We had fun with it for a few days

The school year is wrapping up in a few weeks. Can't wait for summer!
