Justin and I have now been married 11 years! And it was very fun to have a little weekend to ourselves a few weeks ago....aka the "baby moon." We started the festivities at the horse races with the kids. We got a great deal on admission, and thought that the kids would have fun watching the horses up close. It was chilly, but a fun experience.
There were lot of serious horse racing people there....spending some serious money! These ladies made me feel a bit under-dressed.
And then Justin had the rest of the night and next day to ourselves. On Saturday morning we woke up early and went up to the Seattle temple. We got to spend the whole morning there, which was fun since we usually only get to be up there for a couple of hours. Then we went off to downtown Seattle to play.
We went sailing, which was really fun on such a beautiful day.
This big cargo ship headed for China went right by us....man those things are huge!
Then we went over and did the underground tour. And if you don't know what that is....well, look it up. It's one of those things that you'll only be able to find in Seattle!
We ended the day with possibly the world's best macaroni and cheese for dinner from Pike Place Market before we drove down to get the kids. Yummmmmmy!!
Thanks Millerbergs for making it possible for us to have a day to ourselves before this little baby is born!
