Today was the big day! Brandon has been getting so excited about being able to go to school. We went to meet with his teacher last week for his "assessment" where she tested him to see where he's starting the school year at. He did well and got to know where things were in the classroom. We got him a new backpack with basketballs on it and got him all ready to go.
Here's my big boy ready for his first day in kindergarten!
I cried just a little bit when we dropped him off. I'm going to miss him! It's hard to let him go, but I think he's ready.
He came home very excited about his class and the things they did today. I'm so glad that he had a good first day. I can't believe he is old enough for school!

What a handsome young man. I'm sure it was so hard to see him walk into that big school all by himself. I'm sure he will be one of the smartest kids in his class!

Yay, kindergarten! I'm glad he is enjoying. It's hard to see our babies growing up, but so rewarding at the same time.
