Sidewalk Chalk

The kids have been dying to get outside to play. They bundled up the other day in full winter gear to play on the little patch of grass out back where the snow had melted. Brandon wanted to initiate his croquet set he'd gotten for his birthday in January. It was so funny!

Today we broke out the sidewalk chalk. The kids have been asking to use it for weeks now,
but it is finally getting a bit warmer outside, and the snow is melting away!

Lindsey loves to put her boots on herself,
but half of the time they end up on the wrong feet. Oh well!

We've all got spring fever over here. We're ready for the warmer weather.
(It's amazing how warm 45 degrees can feel
when you've been in the 20's and 30's and buried in the snow for so long!)

Wow. Just hearing stuff like this makes me want to make every day here in AZ be an outdoors day somehow. :) *that, and I know it's not going to last too long before we're all sweating! :P

Isn't this taste of warm weather wonderful! I love feeling spring in the air. I am so excited to get to take McKay out more. He loved being outside as an infant. Brandon is really good at writing his name!

I loved seeing the pictures of the kids. The one with Lindsey and the box on her head was cute. But she is so cute, I loved seeing her writing on the sidewalk.
We enjoyed going bowling with all of you last time you were down here. Maybe you have two bowling pros in the making!
Love, Mom
