Dylan's Latest Accomplishment

For Dylan, at 9 months old, this is huge!

I love his look of shock after he gets over. Way to go buddy!

Halloween

The pumpkin carving for Family Home Evening....

Lindsey was brave and jumped right in to scooping out the seeds

Katelyn was pretty brave too

Brandon got his hands dirty after lots of coaxing. See? It wasn't so bad!

The finished products

With the designers, and Brandon designed and cut his out all by himself!

This year we had a great time trunk-or-treating at the church on Saturday night. It was a bit chilly, so we made sure the kids were warm, but they had a great time getting candy. Here they are in the gym after collecting their goodies...

Brandon was Harry Potter, Lindsey and Katelyn were fairies, and Dylan was a teddy bear

Dylan with his friend/teddy bear partner (and her dad Andy)

Brandon's glasses kept sliding off

Making some trades with friends

Checking out the non-candy goods afterwards

And the little fairies checking out their treat bags from the neighbors

On Sunday the kids loved passing out candy to the kids who came by our house. All in all, a wonderful, busy weekend!

Soccer

It has been that time this fall....soccer season. And this year, that has meant practices at night under the lights, and Saturday games, more wet games than we had last year. But it's been so fun for Brandon and he has learned so many new skills.

Here are a few pictures from our soccer season:

 Brandon makes a great goalie

Quite possibly the cutest baby ever seen at a soccer game

Brandon has some great cheerleaders!

Even in the rain (and if I may point out: carrying two camp chairs, a diaper bag that you cannot see, a baby and an umbrella....whew!)

Are people in Seattle crazy? I've pondered this question a lot lately. They do everything in the rain. But I have come to realize, that you just have to! Can't let a little bit of precipitation keep you from doing things!

Katelyn and Lindsey are under those two umbrellas

And yes, they are a little bit bent. They've had a lot of good use!

We still have beautiful fall colors, and it is November! Love them!

The soccer man himself, taking a breather

Way to go Brandon!!

Family Pictures

We haven't had our family pictures taken for two years, so we were definitely due. We had a fun time taking them, despite the rain that dampened our hair about 10 minutes into it. Luckily it didn't really start raining harder until we were finished.

Here are the family pictures we are deciding on to put on our wall over the piano. Please vote! :)

And here are some others that I like and am deciding on to put around the house

I'm going to have a hard time deciding which ones to put in our other frames!
