May with the Muskrats!

At the beginning of the month Justin and I got away for 24 hours, which was amazing! And it was also amazing that we had about 10 people lined up to watch or drive our kids places so that we could get away for that long. A little ridiculous! But totally worth it!

We started our 24 hour date with Phantom of the Opera.....ah-mazing!

The line to use the facilities during intermission was unreal.

And dinner at a really nice Italian place....homemade noodles!

We did get caught off guard by May Day protests, and didn't realize the situation until we head 3 helicopters hovering overhead and saw these 20 officers in full swat gear ready to deal with the protesters. We got our ice cream and got out of there!

We stayed the night in Issaquah and then drove to Snoqualmie the next morning to hike the falls. So beautiful!

Don't feed wild animals!

Back at the house we had a cookout with the kids!

Weston doesn't like sticky stuff on his hands, and Charlie is waiting for him to drop something

Ready for bed

This is a pic of Dylan and Charlie waiting in the van to pick up the girls from school

Mother's Day program at the preschool

All set up for my second stake event this year....the Adult Spring Fiesta! The Pioneer (Spanish) Branch did a lot of the work, and they did a great job. The food was delicious, and the attendance was the highest I've seen since we've lived here for an adult activity!

I had the amazing experience of recording vocals for a new CD that Jennifer Thomas is putting out at the end of the year. Four of the songs are for choir and she asked us to do it. We also worked with Tel Stewart (Piano Guys) to make a video for one of the songs. They will be out at the end of the year, and I can't wait to hear/see the final product of all of this hard work!

We recorded in the chapel at Bastyr University. It was so gorgeous! The sound was amazing! What a long, exhausting, awesome day.

We have enjoyed watching Brandon do 3 track meets this month. He's run and jumped and learned a lot.

Dylan and Weston have loved hanging out with some of the little brothers of the other LDS boys on the track team!

For Memorial Day we went on a quick trip out to the coast at Westport. It was super fun!

It was fun to run into our friends the Dolans for a few minutes on the beach

Late night shennanigans in our little 3 bedroom/4 bathroom suite. We were having a contest to see who could shoot the wad of paper into the paper bowl placed in different places in the room. I think some cheating was going on.....
