A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to be able to go to my first Time Out For Women in Seattle. It really was an amazing couple of days with the awesome talks and music. But I felt very lucky because I got to see Mercy River perform. My friend Whitney sings in the group and it was so fun to see her! Love their music!
And then a couple of weeks ago I got to perform at a stake women's conference about finding peace. It was so fun for me to sing twice during the day, and I also participated in a flash mob of sisters singing and dancing to a Miley Cyrus song (lyrics rewritten about Relief Society) which was of course very funny. By the way, try flash-mobbin' in a skirt and heels! Most of us kicked off our shoes and left them under our tables before we ran up there. You do what you have to!
My life has been greatly blessed by music. I love opportunities to listen to or participate in great music! What a blessing.
