Just to document some recent developments.....
We got a great chair/ottoman to match our couches for the family room. As you can see in the pics I'm now experimenting with pillows.
Justin put in our garden box, and it fits just perfectly!
We should have the other one in later this week.
We've got tomatoes,
green peppers,
sugar snap peas,
onions,
squash, cucumber, zuchinni
and watermelon.
Finally, I got around to making curtains for our windows by the front door. They still let in lots of light but give us a bit more privacy.

Looks great! Can you tell me how you made those curtains for your front door windows? We have windows on both sides of our door as well and Sam was going to get blinds for them. But I like what you did with the curtains so more light can come in. Any help would be great.
Gina, it was really pretty easy. I just got some shear curtains and rods and re-sewed them to the right length. I'll have to give you a call soon to talk to you about it. I need to hear about your new house too! :)
