Well, we had a rough end of the week last week. The whole family except Katelyn got food poisoning. What restaurant did you eat at you might ask? Well, sadly enough it happened in my own kitchen. To make a long story short, the culprit was the Miracle Whip and Katelyn was wise to decide she didn't like my egg-salad sandwiches that night. I will spare you the details except to say that it hit Thursday night after the kids went to sleep, and we were all up until about 4:30 am. My mom was a life saver the next day. She came down to take care of everyone because Justin and I just didn't have the energy to do much. She got us stocked up on juices, jellos and everything you need when your stomach is sensitive. I snapped a picture of Lindsey and Katelyn Friday morning while we were watching a movie. Poor Katelyn was as energetic as usual but the rest of us were as fun as bumps on a log. But she is a perceptive girl and spent quite some time laying on/by Lindsey to help her feel better. It was too sweet to miss.

Thankfully after a slow and restful weekend we are mosly back to normal. We are eating real food and ate a real dessert at our MBA FHE group tonight.

Thanks Seelys! It was yummy and I'm so glad that we could eat it! Thankfully that chapter has ended. On to another busy week!

That makes for an anything but enjoyable week! I'm glad you're feeling better. How fun to see Katelyn wanting to do what big brother and sister do. They must be really good examples!
I'm feeling really good actually! My back really hurts sometimes and my tummy feel pretty squished depending on the day...and I'm sure that will only get worse before it gets better :) But overall I can't complain, I'd much rather those things than be sick!
Good to hear from you! Have a good week...or at least better than last :)
Food poisoning is awful- I've had it- I know. Your poor family! How did you know what the culprit was?
It was the only thing that made sense. Dinner was the only meal we ate together that day, and all of the other ingredients we had used in other things and been just fine. After thinking back, we remembered the Miracle Whip being left out longer than we had realized the week before. So I think it spoiled. When in doubt, throw it away! It's not worth it! :)
I am glad that you are feeling better now. It is no fun when the mom is sick...esp. when the kiddos are too. This makes me glad we are a mayo family! When are you heading to Seattle?
So glad you are all feeling better!! That can be so miserable!
Oh no! I'm glad you are feeling better and that is one sweet picture of the girls!
